Restoration of Saint Blaise Church – Calenzana, Corsica

Material used: Roman tiles and pantiles in Riserva finish
Client: Charpentes Jaloux

The Project:
This project focused on the conservation and restoration of the Church of Blaise, located in the heart of Calenzana, Corsica. A true gem of Baroque architecture on the island, the church underwent an extensive renovation that involved more than 1,000 m² of roofing.
For this intervention, our Roman tiles and pantiles in Riserva finish were selected
a combination that offers a timeworn, authentic appearance, ideal for restoring the church's original beauty. The warm, subtly aged tones of the Riserva finish blend seamlessly into the historic architectural context, enhancing the structure while preserving its stylistic balance.
Executed by Charpentes Jaloux over the course of several months, the restoration was carried out with meticulous attention to material authenticity and construction quality. Traditional installation techniques were employed to ensure a result of lasting aesthetic and historical value, breathing new life into one of the region's most emblematic religious buildings.
