Fornace Solava Technical Sponsor of the Florence Biennale 2025
Fornace Solava is proud to announce its participation as Technical Sponsor in the 15th edition of the Florence Biennale, which will take place from October 18 to 26, 2025, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.
On the occasion of this prestigious international event a benchmark for contemporary art and design, Solava will provide its expertise, technical know-how, and the high-quality materials that have always distinguished its production.
For over a century, Fornace Solava has preserved and renewed the artisanal tradition of Tuscan brickmaking, fostering an ongoing dialogue between history, innovation, and creativity. Participation in the Florence Biennale is a tribute to art and design as expressive forms capable of enhancing matter and transforming it into a work of art.
We are honored to join world-renowned figures such as film director Tim Burton, recipient of the "Lorenzo il Magnifico" Lifetime Achievement Award for Art, and designer Award for Design, Patricia Urquiola. Two extraordinary figures symbols of creativity and international excellence, whose vision reflects Solava's core values: research, passion and innovation.
A special thanks goes to architect Angelo Lavanga for his technical and design contribution, and Enrico Acquasanta for his shared vision and collaboration, which made this important project possible.
Through its participation in the Florence Biennale 2025, Fornace Solava renews its commitment to promoting the value of brick as a material for art, once again confirming that tradition can serve as the strongest foundation for building the future of innovation and creativity.
